Porxos Garden is a boutique hostel offering rooms with private bathrooms. It is an elegant hostel, with modern decoration that combines and preserves the historical antiquity of the building with all the current comforts and modernities. The building was Picasso\'s first home when he settled in Barcelona with his family and the first building to have drinking water in the city. We offer an excellent service, taking maximum care of every detail. Our goal is to make our clients\' stay a most satisfactory experience. We have an urban garden on the rooftop that allows you to relax and enjoy the views of the city of Barcelona. Every morning a continental buffet breakfast is offered with local products. We offer a space for clients who need to telework.
Porxos Garden is located in a strategic point between the neighborhoods of Ciutat Vella, Gothic, Born, Barceloneta and Port de Barcelona. It is one of the most touristic areas of the city. A short walk from Somorrostro Beach and Barceloneta and Las Ramblas of Barcelona. Close to key historical monuments such as the Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar, Barcelona Cathedral and important museums such as the Museu d\'Història de Catalunya, the Picasso Museum and the Barcelona Aquarium. It is close to the Parc de la Ciutadella with the magnificent Barcelona Zoo and the Parliament of Catalonia. It is a few meters from the Barceloneta metro stop on L4 (yellow) and the França train station. 10km from Barcelona airport and 74km from Girona airport.

We had a really lovely stay at Porxos Garden. We are a family of 4 (2 teenage daughters) and we booked 2 standard rooms. They were spacious enough for us, lovely decorated (I particularly loved all the lights), very clean, great bathroom with everything you need (plenty of soap, shampoo, conditioner, body's, hairdryer, towels). The rooms were very quiet and as we were not on the street side had no street noise at all. We loved the common area where you can relax, have a cup of tea/coffee with a piece of cake of biscuit. It was perfect to come back to after a day of walking around Barcelona, before having a shower and going out again. We also loved the roof top garden where we sat a few times just soaking up the sun. Location is great, short distance from metro Barcelonetta but also very centrally located so you can easily walk to the sea/waterfront/Barri Gotic/ La Ribiera/Ramblas Breakfast had everything we needed from bread, lots of toppings, fresh fruit, delicious spanish omelette, cereals, fresh juices, selection of hot drinks, yoghurts, boiled eggs, selection of croissants and other savouries It was really useful to be able to rent a locker at the end of our stay to leave our luggage as we had a late flight back. We were allowed to use toilets and common room in the afternoon. Maria and her staff are really friendly and always happy to help out. Maria's English is amazing. This stay exceeded our expectations, we thought is was a 'real find' and would thoroughly recommend staying here. If we ever come back to Barcelona we would love to stay here again.
This quirky hotel is a great choice. Sandra and her team have created a welcoming space where nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast is excellent. It is easy to use the metro from here to get around the city and there are lots of great small bars and restaurants in the locality.
Charming b&b that reflects the love and care of the owner and staff! An excellent value across the street from the Born & Gothic Quarter areas, and an easy walk to the sunny Barceloneta and coast areas. Rooms were compact but comfortable, and well-furnished with amenities. The common area was cheerful and stocked with complimentary snacks and coffee/tea. The breakfast was superb and offered so many options: fruit, cereals, pastries/breads, tortilla, meats & cheeses, juices, and excellent coffee. Don’t miss the stunning roof garden! The only downside was that it’s a little hard to find (no signage) and that many unhoused people stay on the same block as the inn. But regardless, I recommend Porto’s Garden as a terrific, boutique value!
Super schöne Zimmer in bester Lage.
Just perfect
